What happened to "slice into new midi track" on 8.2.5

What happened to "slice into new midi track" on 8.2.5
So I just upgraded to Live 8.2.5 and the first big difference that I notice is that I can't chop up audio samples into a a new midi track, even when I have already applied transient markers. Anyone? I am lost.

Apparently you are unable to make your own drum racks anymore either. Ableton tell me how to fix this or I may abandon ship.

nevermind. like most things in this arena, I figured it out for myself.
