M4L content not updating to 2.2

Hi, for the longest time I haven't been able to update the max for live content from 1.6 to 2.2. I've tried repair library, and uninstalling and reinstalling the content. Any ideas?

Ableton 8.2.5
Max 5.1.8 - 5.1.9 is failing to to install...

/Applications/Max5/support/LivePacks/MaxForLiveContent.alp

double-click it.

5.1.9 failing to install is worrying - not heard that reported anywhere. mine is fine, same system spec as you.

maybe contact support?

I think my max installation was corrupt or something. After removing the max folder from applications and opening ableton today it updated. Although max still wont update to 5.1.9... I emailed C74 support.
