Something I can't wrap my mind around:
I have two sets of tracks consisting of three tracks in total. They are A & (B+C) all sharing same audiofile
Track A with reverb set to 50% wet, when soloed peaks at -8.8
Track B has reverb 100% wet and track C is 100% dry, when soloed these two togetherm they peak at -6.1
My question is that why they do not peak at same volume level, what is actually happening when adjusting dry/wet knob?
I know that when duplicating a track, the volume should raise by 6db, but here it doesn't raise by 6db and doesn't stay at the same level either, why is this?
