MIDI Sent When Exiting MIDI Map Mode
What is the stream of MIDI data sent when exiting MIDI map mode? I'm looking up the individual messages (displayed in MIDIOx) and there seems to be no apparent reason these particular values should be sent. These are CCs and Notes manually mapped, but I don't understand why they're sent when leaving Map mode. Obviously they're some form of reset strings as the values are mostly velocity 127 for Note Ons, velocity 64 for Note Offs, data values 0s,1,127s for CC - but I do see some other CC data values. Anyone have any insight on this? It actually sends nonsense to my controllers causing me to have to reset manually mapped stuff to 'default'. I really only have this problem when leaving MIDI map mode so it's avoidable with everything set up properly, but it's a bit of a pain to hae to negotiate when mapping. Will this be prevented if I "zero everything up?"

does this also happen when you disable mididevices in preferences?

Re: MIDI Sent When Exiting MIDI Map Mode
I didn't disable MIDI Ports, as that would Physically diconnect the hardware, but I did disable all the control surfaces, and I'm still getting this stream of data, Then I loaded an empty set with only the crossfader mapped, and it's CC was sent with a value of 0 when I exited Map Mode. That happened to be CC0, so these Are standard messages sent to square things up I guess, though I don't know of the logic behind which CCs it will send to,as some notes are sent also. I guess it's all about what you have mapped where.
As I'm using MIDI Translator as my MIDI server, I've just told it to ignore these (non)randomly sent values, which seems necessary for a number of tricks anyway, like utilizing realtime hardware controlled automation in MIDI clips.
