Multiple .asd settings of the same audio clip

Post by filastine » Fri Feb 18, 2005 4:11 pm

I know that everyone must want this and it must have been requested alot, but here it is again. My life would be much easier if each asd. or audio clip appeared in the file browser as a little folder or with a little triangle next to it, whereby you could save different loops/warps/sections of an audio clip.
As it stands now I've got to keep everything in this ungainly master set and do crazy copy, pasting, culling, and updating to that master set.
Pleeeeeez ableton, i'm begging.

obrigado,
g

Haven't thought about that one, but it goes to the enhanced Live browser wishes some of us have discussed.

The seperation of .asd files from the actual audio is a great idea. other sequencers do this very well. You can create clips of an audio file and drag/drop them all over the place without creating a second audio file.
