Can you help me unravel this problem?
I wanted to monitor in the master track with a VU meter.
I came across Starplugs free VU meter (which is very nice)

If I put a simple stereo audio sample into an audio track, say track 1
The starplugs into the master when I pan the track 1 – audio on the right channel is missing?
Even though the starplugs unit shows a signal as does the ableton track1 meter
Setup is pretty simple, a basic audigy card; Track1 out = master; Master out = 1 / 2
If I use the PSP vintage meter – no problem
BUT if I repeat the whole exercise in Reaper (4.1) (oops sorry) no problem the meter acts as you would expect.
So what so peculiar with this bit of software and Ableton?
