Intro bar

Post by allenkashani » Wed Sep 14, 2011 5:02 am

Anyone know how to add one bar before bar 1 in arrangement view? It gets confusing to easily arrange 8-bar phrases when I begin the one bar intro at bar 1.

Put your 1 bar intro at bar 8, then your 8 bar sections can start nice and neat at 9.1.1.

I'd put a time signature change at the start of the arrangement, with four bars of 1/4 time sig, then a change back to 4/4.

Go to the beginning of the track then set the loop brace to 1 bar in length so it covers the whole of bar 1

then choose Insert Silence from the Create menu - on a PC the shortcut is Ctrl+I
