[First automation event has invalid time]

I worked on a project and after 4 hours it crashed. Reopened live and got the error
Message "[First automation event has invalid time]"

Now I can't open the project. I even tried dragging individual tracks to a new project but get the
same error message

I really need to salvage my project anyhow
