Hello All,
I am having a bit of an issue using LIVE 8.2.2, and I'm hoping someone can assist me.
I am using an APC 40 to trigger my clips. I have 4 separate 3 minute clips running simultaneously (drums, bass, synth/strings, and backing vox) for each song. I have a total of 11 songs in this format in a single clip view. The clips are not warped, and all tracks are frozen. My outs differ depending on the pa i'm running through. I'll either run stereo out through a Lexicon Omega, or I will run each track type (bass/drums/etc) to its own independent out through a gigaport hd.
My system specs are as follows:
Sony Vaio
Core i3 2.1 GHz - 4 GB Ram - 500 GB HDD
Periodically, without notice, the music will drop out for a beat or two, then come right back in on tempo. Initially, I found this amusing, because it made me look inventive, but now I'm concerned, since it chooses to rear its head at random intervals.
I initially thought hard drive speed was the issue, so I've now stored the audio files and Live Project file on a USB flash drive and am running the project from that external source. However, I still have the issues with the drop outs. Any recommendations?
Thank you in advance for your assistance. Have a great day.
Audio Dropping Out Periodically, but staying on-tempo

Try this:
Does the audio still drop out whilst Live is minimised?
I had a similar issue, and discovered that it played fine when Live was minimised, and tracked
it down to the video/graphics card drivers.
