Keystation, Reason and Live- can I remote midi both?

I use an M Audio Keystation Pro 88 with Ableton Live 8 and Reason rewired. I have it set up in Live so that most of the controls are midi assigned to Live controls. But I'd like to also assign some knobs to Reason, so I can control filter, resonance, etc, in rewired Reason devices.
Is anybody doing this- assigning some controls to Live, and some to a rewired device?
When I try it the Reason controls will take the assignment, but the knob makes the Reason control twitch from min to max eratically.

Every day I edge closer to just using Live. But I'm addicted to Thor and the sounds in Reason, so rewire is my friend. If I can work this out...
