Yesterday I was using Ableton Live 8 and it recognized both Record and Reason for Rewire. I upgraded to Reason 6 today and it isn't on the list. My other rewire slave apps still work fine.
Does it have something to do with the fact that Reason 6 is a 64 bit application?
I've put up a note on the Propellerheads board, but any advice anybody has would be appreciated.
Ableton LIve 8 doesn't recognize Reason 6 as a Rewire Slave

Solution has been posted already, it's in the readme file. Start the Install Reason with parameter /32 (create a shortcut to the installreason.exe and then add the /32 to install in 32bit mode on a pc.
OSX solution was different... I think rightclick and run in 32 mode or sumthin... can't verify this without a mac.

I have a Mac and it's not in the Read Me file. What do I do? I'm sure that Proppelerheads will tell me eventually.

1. make sure Reason isn't runningTigerTheFrog wrote:I have a Mac and it's not in the Read Me file. What do I do? I'm sure that Proppelerheads will tell me eventually.
2. select the Reason 6 application in the Finder and right-click or use CMD+I to show info
3. check the Open in 32-bit mode checkbox (near the middle)
Now Reason will show up as a ReWire destination.

Thanks, that works. I created a second copy of Reason so now I have one for 64 bit mode and one for 32 bit.
