TT Dynamic Range Meter plug-in & DR Offline Meter Software?
Does anyone know if the TT Dynamic Range Meter plug-in & TT DR Offline Meter Software are still available for Free Download and where to get them? I went to their website and sent them and e-mail, but it looks like the site hasn't been updated since 2009. I never got a response back from them. They look like great plug-ins for mixing and mastering and I'd like to use them along side my Waves PAZ Analyzer plug-in. Here is their site to check out. It says you have to become and Active Member and donate $30 to get both plug-ins for Free Download. I e-mailed them about becoming an Active Member and donating the money to help with their cause "The Loudness Wars", but like I said, they never even got back to me. Not sure if they're even around anymore.

It looks like Brainworx might have bought them out and updated the TT Dynamic Range Meter plug-in. They are selling it for $109. I don't see the TT DR Offline Meter Software available at all. Here is a link to the updated Brainworx Version.

I did find and older version of the TT DR Offline Meter Software available for Free Download for both Mac and PC. If you look up at the top right corner of the screen you'll see
Software:
Windows
Mac OS
if you click the one you need, it will download it for Free. It's a great stand alone program to have to check your stereo bounced mixes. It give you the average Peak, RMS and Dynamic Range readings of your mix. here's the link for that.

Like I said, if anyone has any info on how to get the original TT Dynamic Range Meter plug-in for Free Download that they were offering, please let me know.
Thanks!

You're welcome!
From a security standpoint (as both don't come from an official source), I'd rather install the first one per drag & drop, than giving the installer on the .dmg your admin password.
Though both passed a scan with ClamAV...

Sorry, can you clarify what you mean here? How do you install on mac 'per drag and drop' as you say?steko wrote:You're welcome!

Are you unsure of the safety of this download?

AU path: /Users/you/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/TT Dynamic Range Meter.component
or for all users: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/TT Dynamic Range Meter.component
VST path: Users/you/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/TT Dynamic Range Meter.vst
or for all users: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/TT Dynamic Range Meter.vst
They're probably OK. But if it's not an official source, you can't be sure… Generally I would never give my admin password to an installer from an unknown source.

Thanks for the tip Steko - I'm a bit lax with this myself - sometimes being on a Mac makes me feel bulletproof to such threats.
Thanks for the links, though - I've been wanting that plug for some time, myself. They didn't respond to my emails, either.
Maybe they lost the loudness war?!

Also, I remember there being a tutorial which explains the plug-in a little bit, in terms of what you should be aiming for in regards to average dynamic range.
Does anyone remember seeing such a thing?
