no sound from ableton 8.2.1

I reinstalled my OS yesterday as well as ableton 8.2.1 but am unable to get any sound, even though there are green bars of sound on each channel as well as the master.

I can get sound if I switch to MME/Direct X, but its extremely laggy. No sound with when driver type is set to ASIO.

Please help!!
