How do I back up my FX presets?

Post by kolakube » Fri Oct 28, 2011 10:37 am

Hi,

EG - I have a built in Live 8 simple delay setting I really like. I save it and now each time I open Live I can drag out the effect from the plug ins menu - Great.

But I am one of those who likes to re format my hard drive every year. So how do I back up these important presets? Where do they save too?

Off the top of my head and very simply, create a new Live set and drag your Delay in.
Save it as as Live set. Go to your HD and copy the file to where ever, for you to reselect after you reformat..

Make a rack of it and save the rack. Then backup the folder you saved to.
