knobs messing up big time

lol well not really big time, but heres the problem: when the knobs for effects are halfway, or a little more than halfway out of the track view, and you try to move them, they start to skip or freeze and dont show the correct value. only until you move the knob into full view does it show correctly. this doesnt happen to all the knobs. by the way, my screen resolution is 1280x1024. u can try this if u have the same resolution (have Live maximized):

-drag in an operator
-then drag in a reverb after it
-now try to move the diffuse level and reflect level knobs. they start to skip and freeze. this doesnt happen with the dry/wet knob though.

i have a pc running win xp pro sp2. remember, this happens whenever the knob is a little out of view.
