Track Display Reading vs Sample Editor Reading

Post by DanaTee » Tue Nov 22, 2011 6:18 am

What is the difference between the Arrangement View track display and the Sample Display/Note Editor display? The timing ruler values are different for the same clip. Also, I have made slices of clips that play properly, but in the sample editor it seems to always show the entire original clip.

The Arrangement view is to arrange your clips / sound along a time line / grid. The editor grid is related to the length of your sample or midi clip. When you edit a audio or midi clip all overlapping content will be availible until you crop it.

You should take a look at the manual, i'm sure it makes it more clear then i with my bad english. ;)

Thank you, that was a great explanation. I have read the manual, but still couldn't get it. dt
