A serious program error has occured. Live will shut down...

Hi,

whenever I (try to) start Live 8.2.6 I get a message box saying

"A serious program error has occured. Live will shut down after this message box is closed."

No idea why, all was working fine, I installed the trial for Max for Live and it worked for a few days, then the problem started. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Live, but the problem persists, I am completely stuck.

Also contacted Ableton tech support, but nobody bothered to send a reply, which sucks.

I also get this error quite frequently... it almost always happens when I'm recording vocals (usually when I press the spacebar to stop recording).

Live does an "OK" job of recovering, but there's no recovering the time lost.

I've had two crashes like this in the last week on a brand new audio pc. I sent in two crash reports and haven't heard anything back either.

FL Studio is also running on this computer and is rock solid. I'm starting to use FL more and more every day..
