Automation Problems

Hi,

Everytime I playback my live set automation turns off, greys out, automation lines become brown and the red button at the top becomes enabled. The automation comes back once I click the red button, but once I stop playback and start it again the button turns red. The plug in synth that I am using is Sylenth 1. I'm basically raising the cutoff filter as automation. I've had a look at volume levels in session view, I've tried reloading the vst, deleting automation and re-setting it, opening a totally new live set etc, but to no avail. I haven't had this problem before and Sylenth has worked fine on other occasions. Exporting audio doesn’t rectify the problem either.

Any ideas?

Do you have any hardware connected that might be accidentally wiggling an automation?

Best way to test for this is disconnecting any midi controllers. Hopefully that isn't the problem, but that is all I can think of :/
