Maschine Mackie control for live 8 arming tracks

Hello,
I was hoping you may have an answer for a question I have. I use the maschine mackie control to control live 8, and like to be able to move threw devices and play them. I set up another mackie template in the editor to play the notes on the pads. But my problem is, on the Tr sel knob page you can select a device, right? But why doesn't it auto-arm. I have to flip pages and use the mouse to click the little button at the bottom of the track if I want to accually play the selected track. This is very disruptive a my workflow. i have another surface controller that has a track select that auto-arms when on a track and un-arms when off and onto the next. Is there a way to make it auto-arm when a track gets selected. Or maybe have a key that arms and/or unarms the selected track. Please help. Thanks.
