Connecting to dell computers with ableton

Me and my friend want to preform music together using ableton live. We both have PC and we are wondering how we can connect the two together so we can play in sync.

We have been using this for quite some time now to sync a pc and a mac live, it has been the most reliable thing we have found so far:

what other gear do you have? any devices like a USB controller with midi ins/outs? just connect ins to outs, set the sync in the preferences, hit the sync button (upper right) on the slave and hit play on the master. really really simple, there's a whole chapter on it in the manual IIRC.
