Hi people,
I like to know how I get my setup right for recording a multitrack DJset.
The idea is to make hiphop mixtapes with scratching & stuff..
It's really important that I can hear what I recorded and scratch on it without any delay.
My setup: M-audio fast track ultra usb interface
2 turntables & a pioneer djm800 mixer
Serato Scratch Live
Ableton Live Suite
Macbook Pro
Marantz PM7001 Amplifier with Bowers & Wilkins 683 Speakers
Thanks!

Re: Multitrack recording HELP!!
its really not clear what you are asking?
why multitrack if you are recording a stereo mixtape?
why not just resample the master on a track?

Resample would work for megamixes but not for making mixtapes/tracks like this I guess.

And I have to say I'm a big noob with ableton so..
Re: Multitrack recording HELP!!
I'd like to see this answered, since I have a very similar set up that I want to use for the same reason.
Re: Multitrack recording HELP!!
He's basically asking how he can record scratches over a beat without latency I think (the beat in one track and scratching in another track).
