Make a mappable delete button!

I know, real musicians don't make mistakes. But I DO! And its long overdue to be able to have a delete button mapped to a midi control. Just map the exact same function that the delete key on the keyboard has.
For the growing number of Live users that are guitar player converts, we use Looper, and clipslots, and play live improvisation. Delete would make us more relaxed. I mean, right now if we make a mistake things can go really sideways. DELTE ON A MIDI CONTROL!
