Hi there
I've got this really strange thing going on:
When sending a program change to only 1 massive synth in my set I have no problems.
When sending a program change to 2 (or more) massive synths in my set the whole graphical user interfaces freezes a lot of the times.
This is happening more often when pressing the space bar a few times (I guess because if you fast stop start stop start ... it needs to send the program change every time you start).
Everything keeps working but it's like looking at a screenshot.
I tried with other synths but couldn't reproduce this behavior.
I'm aware of the 'shades' problem: http://www.ableton.com/articles/gui-pro ... es-on-load but as I didn't install that it's got to be something else.
If anyone has the time here's my project for testing this - very simple but effective for reproducing this bug:
http://g.virbcdn.com/_f/files/e8/FileIt ... roject.zip
It's happening almost every time in the "tryout 2 set": open the file and press space bar a few times ...
I was wondering if somebody else has the same results by doing this so I can make Ableton aware of this bug
I'm on Live 8.2.7 and massive 1.3
GUI freeze when using PC's for multiple Massive synths
Re: GUI freeze when using PC's for multiple Massive synths
It happens continually to me using some ensembles of reaktor in the past month...the GUI freeze it,s weird...i thought it was a reaktor problembut now i see happens with other synths...
Re: GUI freeze when using PC's for multiple Massive synths
Yeah, it's weird. Doing live sets with this bug seems too risky. Don't want to have a GUI freeze in the middle of my set.
Already filed in a bug report, maybe you can do that too so Ableton doesn't think it's an individual problem.

Ableton Support let me know they recognize the bug and that this error isn't happening with the Audio Units version.
I can confirm this, AU works perfect!
This bug will probably be fixed with the next update so I guess there's no need to send in more bug reports.
