This is driving me nuts. I've finally got a certain track to where it needs to be. However, when I export it, there is a ping pong effect that occurs right at the start of the track. This doesn't occur when I press play inside Ableton.
In other words, Ableton is exporting something different to what I hear when I press play on the transport. I'm using Ableton 8.2.7 on MacOS Lion. This seems like a bug to me and has happened on several of my tracks.
How can I fix this or work around it?

acid had this issue
the solution/workaround was to play silence at the end of the arrangement before starting the bounce, otherwise it kept a buffer of the sound at the stop point and sent it through fx at the start of the bounce, sometimes tho it gave really cool intros, sometimes it was just horrible shit
