Drum loops

Hi guys, feeling slightly sheepish...I cannot access web help from home, cannot get Youtube, so I am relying on you guys. I tried recording guitar and then adding drums, but it seems I can't keep rythm worth a....anyhow. I followed the embedde lessons on Live for creating loops, but something is off. I recorded the drum loop and it plays until the 11th bar, but then takes a bar break and then starts again up to bar 23, then quits altogether. I did set it to do 100 bars. The loop indication light is on. I gave up eventually, fed the drums in manually and tried to copy and paste to fill the whole song, but it doesn't line up correctly, and then just takes waaaay longer than fruity loops....input please.

how have you recorded your drums? are they live acoustic drums or sampled and recorded with midi notes?

are you recording in session or arrangement view?

when you say you set the drum loop to cover 100 bars is this the length of the clip?
