Quick 'Reset' Plugin Button
Hey All,
I was wondering if any of you bright sparks out there had an idea about how I would create a midi shortcut to 'reset' all my plugins that I'm using for an ableton performance. Through the course of one my songs, I'm tweaking them like mad and by the end, what with slicers and beatrepeaters and all manner of other things. But when I start the next song, I want all the plug-ins in the set to go back to a pre-defined 'default' setting, hopefully just by using 1 button, as I dont want to spend dead time, remembering to tweak everything back to normal. I'm using an Apc-40, but I have a number of commands like 'delete clip', duplicate 'clip' and such mapped to a nanopad - I was hoping I could add another one 'labelled reset plugins'
Any ideas are welcome!
Thanks,

with 2 buttons (i think) you could midi map a chain off and midi map another (default) chain on.
i think
i'm not in front of a computer with Live so i can't check if the on/off switch can be mapped... i also am not sure if all or your effects are in a rack or if they are independent (as in multiple external VSTs). it would require the former to work.
i think

Do you have Max for Live? I so, the Kapture app will work for that. Or if you have an iOS device, they have an app version that doesn't need M4L.

I needed exactly what you want and the great Shelluser wrote it for me. I use it all the time during my shows.
