First off, I am not keen on using looper, I dont like its functionality.
So here is what I am trying to do. I have setup multiple audio tracks in clip viewer that has multiple audio clips. I purposely have each audio clip set not to loop. My goal is to have a macro mapped to a midi button to record an 8 bar loop (or whatever amount) that records which clips were triggered. Yes, I know by having the track armed with global record on will record that into arrangement but I cant figure out how to be able to recall that loop at a later time. I've seen this done before on TouchAble (iPad app) but I use the lemur app with other midi controllers. Soooo, what scripting or workarounds will give me this functionality? Ideally, I would prefer nothing go into arrange and everything stay in clip view.
summary: Record multiple random clips from clip viewer and then be able to relaunch that recorded loop at a later date without using looper.
Bonus: I would love to be able to save these designated clips and can launch multiple at the same time or go back and forth between them.
How can I record multiple clips and able to recall later?
