Is it possible to map the piano roll to computer keys?

Title says it all;
I'm going on a trip and I do not have room for my midi controller, however I would really like to still have an instrument. So therein lies the question, can I turn my computer keys into a piano (or whatever instrument is set to piano roll)? If this is not a possibility, any info on plugins which support this type of mapping would be greatly appreciated.

in the right hand corner near your CPU meter you should see a little keyboard, click that on, and it will turn your keyboard into a keyboard.

And remember. Z and x are octave up and down. C and v are plus and minus velocity. The info shows at the bottom of the screen incase you get lost.

F1 - F8 are mute on off
