I would like to repeat specific measures of a clip, then have the clip move on to the end.
For example:
Clip Length: 16 measures
Repeat Measures 1 - 8 twice
After the second repeat, move on to measure 9 - 16.
Is this possible? I've looked into Follow Action, but from my reading and use of Follow Action, it is up to chance. I want this type of scenario to be specific and happen every time without having to split the clip.
Thanks,
Aaron

Re: Repeating Measures within Clips
easiest would be to split to 2 clips
set launch to play the first for 16, than go to the second for 8
set launch to play the first for 16, than go to the second for 8

I agree, although follow actions can be entirely deterministic. just give it one option and leave probability at 1.simmerdown wrote:easiest would be to split to 2 clips

Re: Repeating Measures within Clips
Yeah, I just wish there was a "Repeat then move on within clip" option for follow action! Splitting the clip then requires me to make a new scene, and when there's nearly 60 tracks to contend with and close to 125 scenes, things start to get a bit cluttered doing it that way. Thanks for the advice, though...much appreciated!simmerdown wrote:I agree, although follow actions can be entirely deterministic. just give it one option and leave probability at 1.
