setup, live, powerbook, firewire

Hey!

Will a G4 powerbook 12" work alright with ableton live??
I have a FIREWIRE AUDIOPHILE audio interface w MIDI (do I need it?)
does this audiophile replace the sound card on the powerbook? and then I just route the sound from the audiophile to some speakers??

Im still in the beginning stages of getting all of this settup and any help will be awesome!

Yes... your g4 should work just fine, as will your audiophile (you'll have to set it up first under the audio preferences, though).

And word up to colorado. I grew up there; kind of wish I could live there again. =)
