Hi,
I've just started a patch creation blog for the MicroKorg. Mainly started to help with my own ignorance of synthesizers this may be useful to some of you. Check it out.

These patches should also work with the MS2000 which is what I have. I'll have to try them out.
Re: MicroKorg - Patch creation blog
Hey Channelite, I got the MS2000 when it came out. Unfortunately...it has seen better days, it's missing some knobs and buttons, broke the switch for line in/mic, broke a key and even broke the AC input but was able to apply a DIY fix with a little bit of solder and an iron. When it boots up, the keys play a whole step higher than they're supposed too but for some reason hitting the global and exit buttons alternately a few times fixes that. I don't know anybody else who's ever owned one but I think it's awesome and it's pretty much my favorite keyboard. What I'm getting at is that I think korg stopped making it after the microkorg came out, and I'm wondering if you know of anybody who repairs the MS2000 or maybe just where I can find replacement parts for one. I really would like to show my MS2000 a little love...it definitely deserves it.

I'm a member of the yahoo MS2000 user group. http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/korgms2000/ Somebody in that group should have some words of wisdom about getting it fixed. Plus they uploaded a bunch of patches for the MS2000 too. I've noticed my 12 year old MS2000R (I have the rack version) is slow to change patches. But it still sounds awesome. Plus I use the 16 knobs at the bottom as controllers for Live. I like it's knobs the best. You could always buy a used MS2000 on ebay..

Re: MicroKorg - Patch creation blog
Very cool, thanks! I find it interesting that you use it as a controller for live, how does one actually go about doing this? Should I dig up the manual for my MS2000?I'm a member of the yahoo MS2000 user group. http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/korgms2000/ Somebody in that group should have some words of wisdom about getting it fixed. Re: MicroKorg - Patch creation blog
Hi everyone,
Just to update you on my patch creation blog - microKORG Patch a Week.
I have just completed a series where I programmed 8 drum patches, called the microKORK Analog Drum Kit (ADK for short). There is a link to each of the patches on the introductory page, or feel free to jump to the page with all the samples. I can't promise that the samples are groundbreaking, or terribly good for that matter, but at least they are original.
Hope you enjoy.
