8.2.8 & TouchAble

Hi,
I have 'lost' the connection with touchAble & live since last live update.

From Touchable support-

Quote "There are problems with touchAble and Live version 8.2.8 on Windows systems.
We are looking into that and hope to have a script-update ready soon.
For the time being, please on Windows use an older installation of Ableton Live (versions 8.2.2 to 8.2.7 work just fine).
We are working hard to find a workaround - please stay patient."

I do not want to go back to version 8.2.7 for stability reasons.
Has anyone else had similar issues re loss of connection?

I have stuck with 8.2.1 for the most part on my laptop where I use TouchABLE. Right now there is no other solution than rolling backward. 8.2.1 was very stable for me.

Live 8.3 might have same issue as 8.2.8 connecting to Touchable ? ....

Updated to Live 8.3, running PC/Win7.

The MIDI Remote Scripts folder is in a path under a hidden folder:
C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live8\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts...

I set the ProgramData folder attributes to Unhidden, added the new path C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live8
to the list of folders in the Touchable server setup,
double-checked after the Touchable install and they're in the MIDI Remote Scripts folder. .

Live shows touchable as an available control surface in the Preferences/ MidiSync tab.

The iPad sees the touchable server address, but shows 0 empty slots.

Submitted a new discussion on the help.touch-able.com forum as well.

Working well with 8.3.
