Lol... Yeah the Launchpad and Apc-40 have some pretty dangerous buttons location out of the box. The one that i hated the most is the scene launch buttons on the launchpad. I've never done this live however when i first purchased the LP i use to hit scene launch one all the time when trying access the track volume faders.
