audio track does not load into audio editor when using edit

Hi there!

I am experimenting with distructive sample-editing via pressing the Edit key on the sample-clip window.

I tryed with GoldWave(trail version) and Audacity 2(freeware version), the Editor-programms would open, but
they would not automatically load the Sample...

How can I get this feature right? Does anybody suggest some neat freeware, for me testing on this Live 8 featur`?

This is a bug in the current versions of Live. I contacted Ableton support and they confirmed it was a bug and should be working on a fix.

Well it works with that audiSaurus freeware, and I am thanksfull, that this software did the littel job.

Tnx for your reply, I would like to hear, when the bug was adressed!
