Organize Your Audio Units Any Way You Want

Post by TB323 » Wed May 09, 2012 6:06 pm

I find the folder structure for audio units on Mac OSX to be kind of a pain because you cannot organize them any other way than how they show up in Live. I like to have certain effects like phasers all in one folder, all my compressors in another, etc. An easy way to do this is to open the effect and group it, then assign the macros to your favorite parameters. You can then organize them in the Effects Rack Folder any way you want. You can do the same for instruments, separating them by FM, additive, subtractive, analog emulation, etc.
