Although I really appreciate Live's ability to handle VST, i think Live's effects plug-ins are supreme.

please invent more.

-Gate - this one's huge. you know for those Wha_ The_ Fu_ i_ Thi_ effect?

-Compressor (with sidechain input)
-Tube emulation

I don't like using VST with Live because the interface is confusing. I like your stuff better.

audiounits would be so cool.
I've started writing my own (http://www.collective.co.uk/expertsleepers/) - it's so easy with the free tools supplied with OS X.
I can just imagine the explosion in numbers of cool plugins once people get switched onto this...
