CPU Spike while using AmpiTube

Out of nowhere, Amplitube is now using about 50% of the CPU in a session. Previously it was using about 30%. I have no idea why this changed. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Thanks!

it's probably something else on your machine that's now running, something in the background. wireless internet or a virus scanner etc.

I removed Amplitube from Live VST folder shortly after Live 8 came out since it was , in my experience, the only real troublemaker.
