wav to mp3
Hey all,
just wondering how you guys go about converting wav's to mp3s.
I'm on a mac and have been using the itunes encoder lately, which doesnt sound too bad, just wondering if there are some better options out there

Re: wav to mp3
I use All2MP3 on my mac.
I've downloaded Music Converter from the Mac App Store as well, but I've never used it though. Just an option for you to check out.

Re: wav to mp3
i use logic and iTunes from time to time
they always sound decent
i would say when converting a wav to mp3 make sure to the track is -1.5dB peak
that will stop any clipping or distortion etc etc etc

I use Adobe Audition. Its the fastest converter, and I've converted over 5,000 files in a batch mode test. It also uses multiple cores if you have them to really speed up the job. You can also use it to master your tracks, create sounds, edit files, experiment with audio/plugins... its multipurpose. Worth the price.
