Its pretty difficult, when people like this jackass continuously post offensive and personal attacks.

Even creating a seperate thread...if you'll notice mine was simply a reply.

I am as bored and offended by this as anyone. But I'm not going to let myself be insulted by people who have no knowledge me. much less people who have nothing constructive to say, as many in the combinator topic and others, did not.

I certainly tried to direct this somewhere a bit more positive, trying to change the subject, but I'm not going to back down or apologize for defending myself from what were ridiculous and childish attacks..

dude get a grip, these are not attacks, this is the internet your life is not being threatened, you're fighting on your computer and taking the video game way too seriously... people will always say distasteful things to others but in cases like this its really important to remember you are still in the safety of your home, have some tea and crumpets and forgetaboutit

choose to have a good day

Take a look at the "Reason 3 Combinator = The next step in super saws?" Thread and see who started and continues to sling names and profanity. HINT: Rymes with omputo. Starts with a "c".

I personally don't work that way. As I see it, I only posted a calm, respectful rebuttal to a point he made (and still am), which is what these forums are for: to discuss and debate.

Unfortunately, there are no monitors on this board, so I called whats his name out openly to see if maybe I was the one out of line.

So far, only 2 other folks have cared to take the poll...

I figure if we were to call someone out, they might at least calm down out of embarrassment for their childish manor, which didn't seem to work with compuguy.

Oh, I guess I was wrong, kabuki.

You are the king of composure, dude.

I was COMPLETELY out of line for discussing computer audio topics, and trying to learn in this forum. God foresake me, I am a heathen.

God forbid someone should try to better themselves here, learn from their peers.

I can see why not too many people use these forums anymore. Some seem to be unable to keep direction, without finding ways to insult those of us who want to learn.

good and respectful.

thats what you'd call that poll?
