Sampler - all midi notes are playing at same volume

For some reason - all of my midi notes are playing at the same volume, despite having a variation in the velocity level of each note.

I know that in Impulse, you have to set the Velocity sensitivity to register the fluctations in velocity, but how do you activate this in Sampler?

you'll find the setting you want in the Filter/Global tab, to the bottom left of the volume envelope: Vol<Vel.
