I think that the smart instruments of garage band it's a revolutionary tools for the musician and no-musicians.
Since im using them my worflow in creation has improved a lot.
I don't understand why others companies don't implement these new tools.
I hope that in the future we will see more of these features and more sophisticated smart instruments, to have a real control in playing different kind of instruments.
Anybody know if some plugins that are similar to the smart instruments exist in the market? like drums, piano etc...

There's no need for smart instruments. All music is made up by notes in this arrangement:

1/8ths with 1/16th spacing. Half tempo, double tempo, add an extra note in between, remove a note, etc etc.. The spacing is prevalent in just about 90% of all electronic music.

Dude, we're talking about software that writes 95% of the music for you so you don't have to. Time could be better spent gaming facebook for popularity and picking out your wardrobe for stage time.

Ahem,
Devices that play music for people that cant play any instruments themselves are hardly revolutionary.
Radio for example has been around for a while.
