routing audio&midi to record to other track ?s

Post by ElcDub89 » Wed Jun 06, 2012 4:52 pm

hello everybody!! hopefully we can get some good info on here but thank u anyway for clicking on the post...sooo i have been using ableton since january this year and im lovin it! so easy to express what ur feeling at the moment and put it into music! simply awsome/ after a million videos watched and forum's ive had a bunch of ?s but ill share just one today

when routing audio or midi to another track and recording there then layering it up is my fav/ being able to easily record and get new ideas on the fly and pos adding effects and recording them in/ also making dummy clips sending audio to another track with a bunch of effects/ ive been doing all this but have been having problems/ such when i send a few tracks to another to record into one i usually always get some noise such as clips and small glitchs somtimes but def can tell i just recorded it/ dosent sound right and the audio isnt going near its max and usally dont have alot of things running/ is this normal? does anybody else get this somtimes?

this is really my big prob and concern seeing if any one has any feedback maybe getting the same thing or maybe if somebody can explain how they route and record some of there audio/ maybe im missing a step or over thinking it.

also maybe a few tips tricks would be cool or maybe a link to another forum of page.

much thanks!!

sounds like a computer issue. try freezing some of your tracks and flattening anything you dont need to stay midi. also try loading the clips that you need into your ram. search this forum for cpu saving tips.
