Hi Guys,
I've noticed when using my maschine / reaktor on different channels when selecting the Midi Controller select at the bottom of the channel my two beats that are running on the different channels go slightly out of sync...
Has anyone experienced this with ableton before? Its as if when selecting the midi controller option at the bottom of the channel under the record/solo buttons the beat skips ahead..
I have a quality soundcard, Ultralite mk3 and do use hardware, but tried switching off/disconnected my hardware and this still happened.
Note: when neither of the channels midi selects are selected the beat runs in sync (in time) when selecting either of them, abletons midi clock for the both channels becomes out of time...
Thanks guys,
Zade
Ableton Instruments going out of sync
Re: Ableton Instruments going out of sync
If I recall well:
if the record button for this track is armed, then disarm it, it can help.
I remember it can mess a lot when you have some arppegiator or /and lot of midiFX devices.
Have you tried at least to modify your midi channel settings without live playing and then hit play and see how it goes?
I have a cool saffire pro24 but it cant do magic with my dual-core's desktop and laptop.
Last but not least>>> record drum to audio and see if the desync still occurs with the audio clip.
Sorry I cant help you much right now, hope it can lead you to a direction.
Best luck to you
