How to set bar 1?

Hi guys,

using Ableton Live since years and saw a feature in Protools and Reaper that I would like to have for my daily work in Live too:

Very easy, I get a lot of tracks with a "count in" or sync beeps and the like and want to import the track so that the song starts with bar 1 and I cant have the precount in bar -1. Is that possible to achieve with live?

You can't renumber the bars as in PT, etc... but you can set a Locator as Song Start via context menu.

thanks for the hint invol; found the context menu and the PLAY button will start from that point, thats helpful. I searched for that feature to set the bars or time from the beginning o fthe song so it's disayed on my Mackie MCU which is not influenced by setting the songstart - thanks anyway!
