Saturator/Distortion swith on Impulse

Post by Perc » Sat Mar 26, 2005 1:24 am

Hi,

Is there any way to automate the on/off switch for the saturator on Impuse? You can automate the distortion amount but having that at zero is totally different to having the effect turned off.

I can not see the on/off paramenter on any of the envelope/automation drop down menus.

Cheers,
Ali.

nope you can't , you can't automate the mute /solo knobs of each cell neither :-(

and you don't have 1 outputchannel / cell :(

Hi mr-e,

"and you don't have 1 outputchannel / cell"

If you mean one output channel per sample than this is not quite correct. If you place an impulse in a miditrack and create an audio track, you can route in every single sample from impulse into your audio tracks using the I/O input routing of the audio tracks. If you use the routing to get a sample out of impulse, the sample is removed from the impulse's mix. Then you can boost your mix using an eq for your bassdrum, a vst for your snare and a reverb for your hhs or whatever.

kind regards,
matthias
