AXIOM PRO 25 -- F1+F4 does not equal F5 -- cannot SOLO track

hello,

on my axiom pro 25, i loaded patch 19; which is inteded for LIVE, but the F5,F6 and F7 soft key functions don't work.

they should function as such

F5 (Solo) Solo selected track
? Axiom Pro 25 Users:
Holding Mode (F1) and pressing F4 will replicate the function of F5.
F6 (< Bank) Select previous bank
? Axiom Pro 25 Users:
Holding Mode (F1) and pressing F2 will replicate the function of F6.
F7 (> Bank) Select next bank
? Axiom Pro 25 Users:
Holding Mode (F1) and pressing F3 will replicate the function of F7.

none of them work, is there a way around this? Thanks,

maybe they've been modified? try re-dumping them.

you mean redumping vie 'preferences' in Live? ok will give that a try, i just checked but the 'dump' option on 'preferences' - 'midi sync' is unavailable
i will try to reconnect the axiom pro 25

OR

you mean dumping the midi content commands of the axiom pro 25 via 'edit' - 'midi' - 'send all'?
if this is the case, if tried the 'send all' function too but i can try it again, by the way i just use the USB cable so i have the MIDIport set to 'all', DevID set to '127', PatchID set to 'on' and MIDIout set to 'Kbd'.

I have AxiomPro 49.
No need to load patch 19.
When opening Live, Axiom Pro autodetect (watch display on Axiom) Ableton Live control surface.
Also reset Axiom before open Live.

I meant the first one - dumping via Ableton's preferences. It supposedly resets the patch (but I've never tried).
Let us know if you got it to work.

there is no 'dump' available on my 'preferences'

i don't know if my axiom display is just fast, but i don't see any activity when i open Live, i see a bit of glitching on the screen, but that's about it.

how is your axiom49 setup?
in 'preferences' - 'midi sync'
under 'control surface' so you have 'axiom pro'
then under 'input' and 'output' you have 'axiom pro 49 hypercontrol in' and 'out' respectively
IS THAT ALL YOU DO?

OR

do you edit the 'midi ports' below? on the 'track' , 'sync' , 'remote' options

OR

did you just follow the installation guide for hypercontrol for ableton

sorry its a lot of questions but this has been a problem of mine for 2 weeks now without a solution

you mean 'track' 'sync' 'remote' are all ON under the midi ports' of Axiom Pro hypercontrol?

i will look into my drivers again, probably re-install (thanks for that suggestion)

is what's messing up my setup for Live

I use Reason to produce some of my beats and this bug fix, fixed it, my axiom pro 25 works like a charm in Reason.
But i prefer Ableton Lives' interface when performing.

so yeah... i hope to find a way around it without messing with the drivers, BECAUSE that might mess my workflow with Reason...

SORRY it took me a while, was working on a project didn't want to mess around with the drivers
ANYHOW, i tried UN-installing and then RE-installing the drivers, downloaded the latest one from M-audio site. UNFORTUNATELY, the SOLO function still DOESN'T work

anybody else here with suggestions?

my laptop setup is:
Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit SP1
Intel Core i7 2.2GHz
6.0 GB dual channel DDR3 RAM
Live 8.2.2
