Tempo change during DJ set???

Post by Theo Void » Fri Jul 13, 2012 9:18 pm

Im sure this has been asked a million times but I honestly can t find the info I need.
I just got booked for a show tomoro night so Im putting a little set together.

My question is: Most of my set will be 130 BPM electro but I also wanna throw in some 140 bpm Dub-step-ish type stuff and maybe even a bit of 110 BPM Moombah.
What is the best way to do this live? Or even a good way to pre-program tempo changes so they're smooth live?

Thanks for you help

I usually assign a knob to the Tempo, and set Min/Max values. The age old trick is to change the tempo in small increments on beat 1 of each bar until you get the to desired BPM, during the transition.
