DEFAULT SIMPLER SHOULD BE DEFAULT PAD FOR DRUM RACK

A major oversight is the inability to have my custom default simpler instrument be the default instrument for when i drop a sample onto a blank pad in drum rack. The stock default release and velocity settings are not suitable for drum pads.

Actually the oversight was on my part. I really need to read the manual more closely

you can set up your default simpler as a default pad for drum rack. there are a few tutorials here
