Creating "Presets"? or "Midi Maps"? from wav clips.

Hello all, sorry if this question has been asked before but I've been trying to get google to give me and answer for some time with no results.

I have a bunch of chopped up amen breaks that I would like to map to a midi instrument so that I can play it on my pad/midi piano which I have hooked up. I tried searching on google but I have no idea how to even generate a new instrument let alone get an audio clip into it.

Also additionally I'd like to "lock" the drum hits in at like 1/16th or 1/8th counts per measure (so that if i hit it a little late it doesnt sound terrible). I haven't really searched this yet but I figured I'd ask since it would probably be my next question.

Look in the manual for "Slice to New MIDI Track." It's a good starting point.
