I am wondering about how the cpu's work in this setup. According to what I have read several places live4 is not using the dual cpu setup nearly as well as it could be. So I am wondering how this works when using live4 with Reason. When you open reason via rewire do you still only get real use out of one cpu? or does reason run off the second cpu as one would hope? I figure that there is someone here using this setup as reason and G5's are both very comon these days. Any real world info would be great.
Peace.

1. afaik - live 3 doesn't benefit fom mp-machines (rewired wih reason). any changes?
yes and no. all audio runs on one CPU but all user interface on the other one. this means with 80% CPU load you still have a fluid interface.
